World Buddhist Outstanding Leader Award
A marquee honor in Jagath’s collection, this award was presented by the Office of the Thai Prime Minister and the World Fellowship of Buddhist Youth in February 2014. Jagath was one of only five global recipients and was recognized “for his dedicated service to the Buddha Sasana” – essentially applauding his efforts in protecting and spreading Buddhism internationally.

- Founding Member of the Chamber of Young Lankan Entrepreneurs (COYLE), encouraging youth entrepreneurship and leadership in Sri Lanka.
- Vice President of the World Federation of Buddhists, reflecting his global stature in Buddhist affairs.
- Guest Speaker at UNESCO in 2023, representing Sri Lanka on international platforms for heritage and cultural dialogue.
- He is the Patron of the Old Anandians Buddhist Association, a distinguished role from his alma mater, Ananda College.
